The 16th Century proves very difficult for the genealogist as facts are presented without foundation and foundations cannot be set without facts.
The Conways of Ragley are one example where conjecture has been turned on its head by a determined forensic genealogist through the exciting world of the internet.
Nowhere can be found the names or number of the children begotten by Edward Conway and his wife Dorothy Tracy. A mish-mash of names and baptism/death records defy the truth and many people have attached unreognised children based on location and the fathers name.
Here we build the build the family using information from the 16th century.
"His (Edward, 1st Viscount) eldest son, Edward, succeeded to the family honours." - Edward's eldest son was named Edward.

"By his wife Dorothy, daughter of Sir John Tracy of Tedington,Gloucestershire, and widow of Edmund Bray, he had three sons and four daughters." - Edward had three sons and four daughters.
